9-Day Iceland Timelapse Workshop

Learn advanced time lapse photography skills during this fall workshop in Iceland.  The workshop and tour will bring you to the most breathtaking locations in the southern Iceland and highlands to capture the beauty of the landscape during times of the best light. This includes sunrises over the glacier lagoon and capturing the Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights) each night, depending on solar activity and weather. Timelapse specialist, Ron Risman, will provide personalized in-field instruction to help bring your timelapse photography skills to the next level, while Icelandic landscape photographer and certified guide, Haukur Parelius, will get us to the best locations, during the best light, while providing photography and geographic expertise each day.    You'll also get to learn from fellow photographers and timelapsers on this amazing journey through Iceland to learn new skills, discover this beautiful country, and capture images for licensing, portfolio, demo reels, and amazing memories. You'll also learn how to professionally post process your time lapses to create films that inspire.   You'll learn how to add camera motion to your time lapse sequences using the new Kessler Crane TLS motion control system; and you'll learn how to best capture the landscape - day or night - including how to capture the Northern Lights (weather and sky permittng). October is the perfect time to explore Iceland.  The summer tourists are gone; day light and night skies are well balanced, which provides the opportunity to capture the beauty of Iceland with beautiful light during the day and incredibly dark skies at night - making this one of the best times to capture the Aurora Borealis.
