The #1 Timelapse & Photography Workshop Experience & Adventures
Our photography workshops are open to photographers and cinematographers of all skill levels. We host just a handful of workshops each year in order to stay focused on the quality of the experience and education that we provide. When you attend one of our workshops you'll have our instructor's undivided attention the entire time, helping you learn advanced techniques from a combination of classroom sessions and on-location shoots.
Much of our year is spent planning our trips, fine-tuning our classroom sessions, and keeping up to date with new software and techniques in order to make sure you have the most incredible learning experience imaginable.

Ron Risman, Instructor
Ron Risman has been a photographer for over 30 years, and cinematographer and time-lapse specialist since 2008. As a photographer and timelapse specialist Ron quickly fell in love with night photography, and finding new and creative ways to capture the night sky. "Standing under the dark skies of Moab was a life changing experience for me and I knew that someday I'd be leading workshops out here" says Risman. "To be able to capture timelapses and photographs of the night sky, and to share that experience with others is what drives me."
Ron has been commissioned to shoot time-lapses for corporations such as Land Rover, Liberty Mutual, Restoration Hardware, and IttQ Japan; news organizations such as FOX CT News and WFTV-9 Orlando; and his work has appeared in films such as the HBO's "The Crash Reel" which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah and in the Land Rover short "Bridges to the Stars." In 2016 many of Ron's time lapses were licensed for television for a film about Utah's Might Five National Parks.
As the founder of Timelapse Workshops it is important to Ron to provide participants with an unrivaled workshop experience, both in-class and while on-location.

JT Blenker turned the trip of a lifetime traveling through out the country into a career in photography focusing on our sky’s, elusive for many, Milky Way Galaxy. Going from working in Fortune 500 companies to becoming a night sky photographer in the short span of five years.
JT realized that passion, family, and happiness are the cornerstones of living a great life while creating amazing art. Becoming engaged with the Professional Photographer’s Association’s national, state, and local affiliates has allowed him to build heartfelt relationships with some of the best photographers alive today, as he shares his knowledge, engaging stories, and expertise through his nightscape and landscape workshops throughout the USA.
