About

Join cinematographer and time lapse specialist Ron Risman in Moab, Utah for a pre conference 3-days and 3-nights under the dark-skies of Moab, Utah. Learn to capture and create breathtaking night-sky time lapses under some of the darkest skies anywhere.

This workshop combines classroom instruction with daily on-location shoots - and is open to photographers of all skill level.

This is an intimate workshop with hands-on classroom and on location scouting, shooting & instruction. You will come away with extensive knowledge on how to compose, capture, and process night-sky photographs and time lapse films

This workshop is scheduled around the dates of the new moon to ensure that we have the darkest skies. Our workshops are kept small and intimate in order to maximize learning in class, and to allow us to provide personal instruction in the field. This class is ideal for beginners through intermediate skill level.

REGISTRATION & PAYMENT

Registration for this 3-Night, 3-Day workshop is $1,199.
Space in limited and early registration is highly recommended. As of January 5th, 2019 there are only 2 spots open.

HOTEL

The workshop is being held at the Gonzo Inn - in the heart of downtown Moab. The Gonzo Inn is one of best places to stay in all of Moab and is convenient to shops, restaurants, and dining.

There is a room block set up for workshop participants for the nights of April 28 - 30th at the Gonzo Inn in downtown Moab. Once registered you'll receive a welcome email with information to book the hotel along with a room discount.

CANCELLATIONS & TRAVEL INSURANCE

A minimum of 5 registrants are needed otherwise this workshop will be cancelled and monies returned to each registrant. We cannot be held responsible for travel cancellations, so please plan accordingly.

Registrations help us to plan our itineraries and bring in extra professional assistance as required, thus request for refunds are only available up until December 31st, 2018. Cancellations after this date cannot be honored.

We recommend that participants obtain travel / trip cancellation insurance to cover any unforeseen circumstances that require the cancellation of the workshop or your participation in the workshop. Please refer to our terms & conditions.

Timelapse Workshops is permitted by the National and State Parks where we conduct business. We carry permits and proper first aid certifications and insurance coverage for each workshop.
